ASAWA CHAKKI GHAR was born from a simple promise: to bring the purity of the past to the modern kitchen. From chemical-free organic farms to our traditional stone chakki, we ensure every grain retains its natural goodness, flavour, and nutrition. We believe that what you feed your family matters, and the best ingredients are the ones made with care and intention.

But why does this ancient method matter so much for our health today?

Our Founders' Story

ASAWA CHAKKI GHAR is the dream of Kishan Asawa and Arundhuti Asawa, a couple who shared one simple belief: that the food we feed our families should be as pure and honest as the love behind it. Like so many of us, they grew up on rotis made from freshly ground flour, food that nourished not just the body but a whole way of life.

Years later, settled in Hyderabad, Kishan and Arundhuti noticed how far modern flour had drifted from those memories: over-processed, stripped of nutrition, and missing that fresh, comforting aroma. Rather than accept it, they decided to do something about it. They went back to the wisdom of the traditional stone chakki and built ASAWA CHAKKI GHAR around a single promise of purity.

Today, Kishan and Arundhuti work hand in hand with organic farmers, oversee every batch milled on the chakki, and treat each family they serve as their own. What began as a personal search for honest food has become a mission to bring the goodness of freshly stone-ground flour to every kitchen in Hyderabad.
